How Custom Caps Are Made: From Artwork to Bulk
7 min read
Ever wondered how a logo becomes a finished cap? Here is the process at a real headwear factory.
1. Artwork & digitising
Your logo is converted into a stitch file for embroidery or a colour-matched print file for sublimation/print.
2. Sampling
A pre-production sample is made for approval in 10–12 business days.
3. Cutting & sewing
Panels are cut, buckram is fused for structured styles, and the crown, brim, eyelets and sweatband are assembled.
4. Decoration
Embroidery, patches, sublimation or print are applied in-house.
5. QC & shipping
Four-stage quality control (fabric, in-line, pre-finish, final AQL 2.5) precedes packing and DDP shipping to the USA, UK and EU.
